Founded in 1976 in Germany, HOHMANN remains a family-owned and operated gallery that is now in its second generation. Our flagship 9,000-square-foot, museum-style gallery in Palm Desert is a premier destination for contemporary art, housing an extensive onsite collection representing more than 100 artists. To further connect with the community, we also maintain a satellite space in Palm Springs directly across from the Palm Springs Art Museum.
We are committed to ensuring that our collectors and clients receive the highest level of service. We offer worldwide shipping and have built a trusted network of art handlers and installers in all major areas. Locally, our highly trained team can take on even the most ambitious projects. Don’t miss to see Introspective Energy, a solo exhibition at our Palm Springs Show room.
If you missed Nicholas Auen's exhibition in Palm Desert last season, here's your chance to see it again. Nicholas crafts both figurative and abstract art using precisely chromed and hand-painted aluminum cut-outs, creating a captivating, multidimensional look. His work is already part of many collections, and his promising career is just beginning.
Our galleries are open all year, but this is the last opening reception of the 2024–25 season. Our events will start again in October, so we invite you to join us now or visit the exhibition during its run if you can't make it to the opening.
Julian Voss-Andreae
From April 7 through June 13th, HOHMANN will present new sculptures by renowned Quantum Physicist turned sculptor, Julian Voss-Andreae. His "disappearing" sculptures are appearing in private collections and public spaces all around the world and images and video of them are going viral across social media.
Hohmann has represented Voss-Andreae for over 10 years and this is the first extensive exhibition.

The Hohmann family represents a rich legacy in the art world going back almost half a century with roots in Germany. Werner and Ursula Hohmann founded the gallery in Northern Germany in 1976 and their son Christian joined the family business in 1993. Today, he is the CEO and President of HOHMANN, Inc. the US-based part of the gallery. →
